 A mighty woman of God!!! An anointed vessel!! These are just two of the phrases used to describe Dr. BJ Relefourd. She walks as a virtuous woman, a submitted helpmeet, a loving mother and nana, a mentor and a warrior in the Kingdom. It has been the anointing upon her life and the favor of God that has opened many doors in the life of Dr. BJ Relefourd.
Pastor BJ, as she is known to many, was licensed in Lakeland, Florida at St. Luke’s Ministries under the mighty dual leadership of Pastors Arthur and Clarise Johnson. Following her own advice of “study your Word” to those she teaches and mentors, her continued studies resulted in Senior Ordination. Responding to the thirst for knowledge instilled in her by God, she successfully completed the required courses and life experiences and earned a Doctor of Divinity degree from the World Christianship University. God directed she and her husband, Rev. Marion K. Relefourd to relocate to the Metro Atlanta area. This is where the first of many ministries was begun under their leadership. God has blessed this union for 28 years. They have a daughter, Kia and a son, Keith & daughter-in-love, Karisha. This union has been blessed with a daughter, KaShayla Jenae & sons, Kadin Jordan and Kelin Joshua. Pastor BJ serves humbly in the Kingdom. Women of Power was founded in 1997 under the anointed direction of Pastor B.J. Relefourd. She realized that there was a need for a healing ministry in Gwinnett County, GA, located in the North Metro Atlanta area. The first meeting was held in the home of Pastor B.J. There were six women present. We came together and the Holy Ghost showed up! The following year, the Lord placed the spirit of increase upon the fellowship and each year thereafter. We have witnessed the move of the Holy Spirit as women are saved, set free and delivered. Women of Power is not concerned with denominations. It is an organization of numerous cultures, religious backgrounds and ethnic creeds. This organization sponsors conferences, prayer breakfasts, luncheons and numerous outreach programs. It is the desire of this organization to identify with the total woman spiritually, emotionally, as well as physically. We trust you shall find your special place and become a Woman Of Power. |
